Russian armed forces are in control of some 90 percent of the Kremennaya district territory, commander of the Sarmat Cossack group from the Astrakhan region Mikhail Zaplavnov told reporters.
Zaplavnonv, who participates in Donbass combat missions, has been tasked by the Astrakhan region governor to lead a humanitarian operation in the sponsored Kremennaya district. The information on the current situation in the area was supplied by Russian servicemen fighting on the frontline.
As of now, about three villages (In the Kremennaya district) are controlled by Ukrainian troops; the rest of the territory is fully liberated, he said.
The enemy has no chances to break through the strong defense lines organized by Russian forces in the district. Russia has massed up troops in the area, i.e. it learned from its mistakes, so people should not worry, the serviceman said.*i
